LIR Weekly 5615 - EihwazR, EhwazR, JeraR, Perthro

I forgot to take a picture when I did the reading, so I'm hoping to link to the video.

Runes are read from bottom to top

From the position of the runes (EihwazR being below the chain,) it appears this is a continuation of last week's work with projects or divisible worlds - worlds which need bridges, connections. Last week we decided if they needed bridges, or if it was better to let them - each world, each part of the project, each section of the choir - work alone.

This week is a good time to look at those disparate worlds and see what it is that keeps them from flowing together. Is every part operating under the same goals, the same culture, the same language? Is everyone singing the same song? Comparison and judgment can be good tools.

And, again, do you (do we, do I) want it to be in flow? Is the discordant effect wrong, or right for the truth we're seeking?

This week will probably not produce anything, for all the work and effort we're putting into this project; perhaps it's not time for it to produce anything yet. (so, don't sing the song for the public, don't present the report). There may be another question to ask. Is all this work worth the expected harvest?

It is a good time to get some outside opinions, however. A dress rehearsal, beta testing, or even taking a perception of the project(s) from the overview, instead of from the inside. Recording, practicing, seeing the piece as a whole can help wiggle out where some tuning might be helpful.

                                                        ***************************************

Of course, my own insecurities do pop up immediately - OH NO! What am I doing wrong? Why won't it fit together? Why doesn't anything go the way I want it to?

Then my inner coach gives me my pillow pet and reminds me, there are no mistakes. This is all practice. Big and small, stage show and outfit, final test for college and new business launch. You can only do what you can do. I cannot do your best. You cannot do my best. WE can each only do our best. So how much do I want to give to this project, regardless of its production value? How much time, energy, love, passion, do I want to exert?

And when I put it that way, I can think of a few situations which might fall into this reading very nicely. I'll have to think about the outside influence though. That's something which will require practice… well, I guess it depends on which situation I'm in.

Hmm. I wonder if I can apply the accepting attitude of a place where I request outside information (like voice lessons) to the places I don't want it so much (like when I'm talking about writing and everyone wants to tell me how to get things published.)

Thank you, and I hope you have a Great week!

LIR 7514 - EhwazR LIR 7614 - No Rune

Things don’t always flow in a sensible fashion, from past to future. Trust the intuitive leaps you make today!
**********************************************************************

And every day, I hope.

This last year or two, I have learned that one way to help me decide if I want to do something is to talk about it.  Often, just the fact of talking about it is enough to know what I really think about it.  Because if it's gone after it's been discussed, it was "just" a cool idea which would be fun to implement, but not something I really want to put energy into.  A form of putting the seeds into the ground of the universe and seeing what takes root.

So, the day of this reading, I was at retail and following some thoughts to their conclusions -  if what I want isn't out there, I can create it myself.  Just another version, really, of "if you want something done..."

And for me, it's not, "if you want something done right."   If I want something done, then I should do it.  It's me who wants it done!  The ultimate form of manifestation, right there in the palm of my hands.  I want the laundry done, I go do the laundry.  Ta da!  Even the act of eating food made from someone else's hands requires an energy output.  Finding the place to eat, making the order, and exchanging money for services.  You manifested that meal, however you look at it.

So, I went out to dinner with my spouse and sat down and talked it out.  All the possibilities of how I could manifest my ideal day.  He did an excellent job listening.

Which brings us to yesterday's reading:

what are you thinking about?  focus on that today.  have fun!

*******************************************

Yesterday, what I was thinking about was happiness.  Through my day, as I did my readings and my retail and my relaxation, the happiness guru in me gave me a big long speech.  At first, I thought it meant I really wanted to be a motivational speaker!  (What makes you happy!?!)  And I would probably rock that, if I could find a way to get it started.

But as I was sitting on the couch with my spouse, watching television, I realized the answer was... being a lazy bum also makes me happy.  Having enough cash in the bank to enjoy, guilt free, a delicious meal and television of whatever quality.   Reading books (Oh!  I miss my library).  Planning vacations.  Playing computer games.  Admit it, Lila.  Be a woman, deserve your guru title, stand up and admit what makes you happy.  Relaxing and playing.

And yes, surprisingly to the selfish Lila, having my husband in a job which makes him happy, makes me happy.

So I applied for some bank jobs last night.  My favorite bank had some openings.  I've always wanted to work at a bank.  And I like the mental image of myself working in a bank.  And while I really appreciate the retail job getting me back into the world; and while I enjoy meeting people and making them feel good about themselves, or being cheerful and having fun;  the retail world does not feed me.  I would like to see if the banking world does.  It already has more growth options.

But I had a quandary.  I like the number 5.  And when I go into banking, I can put that work back under the 'Rithmatic heading of my business.  So what is the 5th R in my bag of abilities?

And this is one of the ways posting the rune readings feeds me....  it answers questions.  I've already typed it. You've probably already guessed it.

So, let me introduce myself.  I am Lila Evans Allen, purveyor of the 5 R's.  Reading, Riting, 'Rithmatic, Rumination.  and Relaxation.

How can it get better than this?

We don’t need big, drastic changes to increase our comfort.
The desire for more nurturing will not destroy our worlds.
Breathe in. What do I want? Breathe out.
I hope you have a great day!

LIR 22014 EhwazR

Not all relationships are symbiotic; not all situations require a balance of give & take.  There is no right/ wrong in receiving without giving - or vice versa.

*************************************************

I expected this to manifest as a situation where I either felt guilty for being on the receiving end of something, or felt annoyed because I wasn't getting any return for my work.

Instead, it became an analysis of my relationships - which ones are symbiotic?  Which ones are codependent?  Is it the same thing?  Which ones are one-timers, which ones are long term?  Is there a relationship that isn't symbiotic, in my life, in the long term?

Hopefully, this will become a posting or two (or five) for my meanderings page.  There is a lot to think about, when it comes to relationships, how we are programmed for them and to them and through them.  It's easy to talk about change for self and empowerment, but putting it into practice requires changing relationships.

Lot's to think about.

LIR 21314 EhwazR & MannazR

Things may feel out of balance, out of flow, not as symbiotic or sympathetic as usual.  If this works for you, yay!  Otherwise, slow down.  Going faster will NOT pull things together.  And, oh yeah, breathe.

******************************************
I've been out of town for a few days, so it's been awhile, (hi!), but I totally remember this one.  Because it worked backwards.

Instead of slowing down, in order to accomplish my goals, I would have done better to go faster.  But every time I felt the urge to speed up, I instead sat down (figuratively - well, and literally once, when I was waiting for something. *G*.)  So, I lost an opportunity I had been waiting for, to have a long conversation with someone.

So while it is true that going faster will not pull things together...  because I do tend to lose things, and I don't multi-task well... it is perhaps time to practice moving with more purpose.  Taking a step back or a deep breath does not mean losing momentum.

Of course, the optimist in me says it turned out the way it needed to be.  Perhaps more conversation would have been ended up putting too many ideas in my head, and I wouldn't have remembered what I wanted to.  (They made the note taking phones just for me!)  Or...

Wait, no second guessing.  No back tracking.  From this point of view at this time, I would like to have had more time for conversation.  So my lesson is, if it says things may feel out of flow, I might want to check twice about what I think the flow is.

102513 - EhwazR (Yes, again!)

Another day of differing opinions, diverging wavelengths.  This is good for conversation & idea generation; frustrating if you'd like a consensus.

********************

Right.  I have tried and tried, but today feels like such a long day, I can't tell you how the flow was out of sync.  Mostly, the timing of things and the decisions I made would indicate I was plugged in, at least to the universal wave length.

There was conversation which has sparked some contemplation... but it wasn't really the give and take of ideas, more a counseling session.

I had to unpack and repack a box multiple times because the shipping forms kept wanting more information about something IN the box (but to start the packing form, you need to know how much the whole thing weighs!)  Glad I didn't tape said box when I first packed it - which means I WAS in the flow.

I was going to say I was angry a lot today, but I wasn't really.  Not all day.  Not even most of it.  Nor was I happy or passionate or frustrated most of the day.  Maybe that was the flow that was divergent - it was a day of fluctuating emotions for me.  If so, it seems to have ended better than I would have expected.  So, yay!

What I come away with tonite (besides some time to work on my book, if I finish editing this post) is hope.
And pride that the package is still intact (though not yet sealed.)

I hope you have a great day!

101913 - EhwazR in Earth

Not all wavelengths are the same today when it comes to material choices.
Do you choose to run with the pack?  Be yourself?  Put off the decision until tomorrow?
What makes you happy?

********************************

I did find myself wondering, as events happened, okay, is this the wavelength difference?  Is this where it's going to crop up?  As if I was expecting it to be a bad thing.

Which is frustrating, because that would not be how I bill myself.  I'm the sunshine person... bringing the bright side of the runes to everyone.  Yay!  (the crowd goes wild.).
And a difference in opinion, or even desires, isn't a bad thing.  Even in a pack, every member is different.  It just makes it difficult to communicate sometimes, when one's values are different than the other's.

It's like trying to define a word.  (I was thinking about climbing onto my pet peeve soapbox which includes words like literally and legitimately  but I'll choose something else.)  Oh, okay.  Let's look at value.  Some would define value as the price of something.  Other might read it as the preciousness.  Something of value could be cherished, or insured; it could be material or it could be emotional.  Value is almost literally (ha!) in the eye of the beholder.  What is of value to one person, like diamonds, means nothing to another (who would pay a month's salary for a signed first edition copy of Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett - course, that's last month's salary, not the soon to be salary *G*.)
Or, to look at another set of words, some people use faith, spirituality, and religion to all mean the same thing.  Others see them as separate topics.

So, it can be difficult to speak, to get on the same wavelength, when each person is speaking from a extremely different perspectives of material value.

Happily, because I was expecting it, even looking for it, what could have been a frustrating situation became a moment of learning.  I was willing to, hmm, not lower expectations, but perhaps change my approach.  Change my wavelength.  well, willing to try.  It turns out, I couldn't.  I've done a lot of work to get myself on this wavelength.
But I was able, willing, to try the discussion again, to approach the subject from a different angle.  Still different wavelengths, different values, perhaps even different realities on some subjects.  But, I think, as long as we keep talking, it won't matter if we don't always understand.

So, what makes me happy?  Well, it makes me happy to know where my wavelength is.  And it makes me happy to know I'm able to try and expand my world to at least hear other wavelengths.  It does make an interesting harmony.

I hope you had a great day!
