LIR 61115 Weekly - Fehu

Fehu, this week, is about the energy exchange from us to the community and back again. It does most often represent the energy used in work - as that is what we do to provide for ourselves and our clan. It is an exchange - we put out energy (work), we receive energy (money) in return. We use the energy to provide nourishment, and we maintain the strength to put out more energy. It is a cycle.

This is a good week to look at your interaction with your community -- whether it's job or volunteer work, church or social engagements. What energy do you put out, and how is it repaid to you? How are you fed? Who are you feeding? What do you provide and what is provided to you?

Are you getting enough energy in return? Too much? Too little? The wrong sort? Is your form of energy output one that matches your passions, your fire? Is there a joyous, happy spark in what you do in your community?

This may be the week where projects start moving forward and producing an actual exchange between you and the community you're working with. If ideas are put into action, or have been floating out there like lures in a fish pond, this week may provide some nibbles.

In short, it's a good time to really focus on the cycles of energy exchange you are part of in your communit(ies). Does it / do they fit with your truth, your passion, your happiness?

Yup, it's pretty straight forward. As we give out our energy, our hands are open to receive. I accept.

And yes, I do hope the lines I have floating in the water (books published, blogs written, classes and coaching offered) will find the fish they're meant to feed. Or vice versa. We are taught not to be selfish, not to want money. Yet, money is how we provide for ourselves. So, yeah. And I'll keep repeating this until I believe it and the universe believes it and money believes it. I like money. I want money. I accept money.

Let there be money. For all. Or the equivalent exchange of energy and provisions, comfort and feeding and return on our passionate investments in our communities.

LIR Weekly 5615 - EihwazR, EhwazR, JeraR, Perthro

I forgot to take a picture when I did the reading, so I'm hoping to link to the video. 

Runes are read from bottom to top

From the position of the runes (EihwazR being below the chain,) it appears this is a continuation of last week's work with projects or divisible worlds - worlds which need bridges, connections. Last week we decided if they needed bridges, or if it was better to let them - each world, each part of the project, each section of the choir - work alone.

This week is a good time to look at those disparate worlds and see what it is that keeps them from flowing together. Is every part operating under the same goals, the same culture, the same language? Is everyone singing the same song? Comparison and judgment can be good tools.

And, again, do you (do we, do I) want it to be in flow? Is the discordant effect wrong, or right for the truth we're seeking?

This week will probably not produce anything, for all the work and effort we're putting into this project; perhaps it's not time for it to produce anything yet. (so, don't sing the song for the public, don't present the report). There may be another question to ask. Is all this work worth the expected harvest?

It is a good time to get some outside opinions, however. A dress rehearsal, beta testing, or even taking a perception of the project(s) from the overview, instead of from the inside. Recording, practicing, seeing the piece as a whole can help wiggle out where some tuning might be helpful.

Of course, my own insecurities do pop up immediately - OH NO! What am I doing wrong? Why won't it fit together? Why doesn't anything go the way I want it to?

Then my inner coach gives me my pillow pet and reminds me, there are no mistakes. This is all practice. Big and small, stage show and outfit, final test for college and new business launch. You can only do what you can do. I cannot do your best. You cannot do my best. WE can each only do our best. So how much do I want to give to this project, regardless of its production value? How much time, energy, love, passion, do I want to exert?

And when I put it that way, I can think of a few situations which might fall into this reading very nicely. I'll have to think about the outside influence though. That's something which will require practice… well, I guess it depends on which situation I'm in.

Hmm. I wonder if I can apply the accepting attitude of a place where I request outside information (like voice lessons) to the places I don't want it so much (like when I'm talking about writing and everyone wants to tell me how to get things published.)

It looks like Information, inspiration, communication

is coming in to you regarding or from your Clan.

Clan is a funny thing. It can be the family of your blood. The family of your profession. The family of your interests. The family of your heart.

I have a family of blood, of course. One I keep contact with *G*. And I had a very interesting (and unexpected) meditation communication with one member.  It was cool, when I finished questioning the possibilities and just allowed it to be.

I have family of the heart, definately. People I have come to consider bosom companions, and with whom i actually discuss things I consider private. Nothing unusual came in to play with them yesterday.

Family of my profession & interests. There was a definite message about both on what kind of teacher (coach) I hope I am, and what kind of teacher I prefer to work with to further my learning. You have to know your stuff. Be able to articulate your stuff. Be able to use different approaches if I'm not getting it. Critic, but do not express judgment - either of me, or of yourself in how well you're doing at teaching. (At least during the class. When we've gone our separate ways, express judgment all you want.)

I have received one other message - I prefer to be with, learn from, people who celebrate their activities, feel the passion, "do it because they love it". For them, I am happy to return energy in the form of cash, or time, or service.

The rune for January is Kunos (also known as Kano, cen, kaunaz, kenaz)

It's fitting that Kunos be the rune for January, the time many people make resolutions to improve themselves and their worlds.  Kunos is about possibilities, the choices we make, our individual personal decision about where to shine our light, where to invest our passion, what to create.

This month, Kunos tells us let all of your hopes and dreams be possible.  Don't just put the probable goals on your list, add everything you want.  From the lifestyle change to the lottery win, from the communication with exotic beings to the clean carpet.  Many of these may not manifest, due to timing, or lack of attention.  Some are just fun day dreams; some are seeds of ideas that will be passions next year.  But let the limits come later, as your attention and desires focus in on specific dreams.  For January, lay it all out and see what you really think you might want to be interested in.

Kunos tells us this also.  The progress of our dreams, our successes, is not measured by another's accomplishments, nor by their opinions.  Our deeds are not diminished because someone else is also doing it, has done it first, has done it differently.  The passion and the fire for each dream comes from each person; so the result, the art, the success of your dream is unique and all yours.  Whether it's the clean carpet or the lottery win.

Kunos, fire and air.  Dream big, dream large.  Anything is possible.  May the dream(s) that feed us be the ones that flourish.
