LIR Weekly 7815 - AlgizR

No, there is no guardian angel, energetic provider, or silent partner for this situation. Do you want there to be?

As the Earth goes through its metamorphosis, and as we all go through our own transformational storms, it becomes more and more important to ask for what we want. Especially for those of us who carry a sense of personal responsibility like a shield. After all, there are plenty of times we don't want anyone shielding us, sending us that little extra bit of light or energy, treating us (we feel) like a child or precious cargo. Grrr.  Right? Right.

And the Universe says, excellent.

But that means that when we do need that little extra helping hand, communication, or shield, we have to ask for it.

Do you know the awesome thing about asking for help? You get to be specific about what you want. Sometime people offer help, but their skills do not match your needs at all. Their energy has nowhere to go, no place in your situation. But when you ask for help, you get to say - I need this extra surge of energy at this time, to accomplish this specific task. And sure, I have time to hang out and have pizza afterward.

So, if you're facing your situation and wondering if it's moving along so well because of an extra little push from the Universe, the answer is no. It's all you, baby!

But if you're wondering why your situation isn't improving, or growing, perhaps it's because you have given all you can give, and it's time to ask for help.

This week AlgizR is saying, there is no extra energy guarding or guiding you. So, how do you feel about that?

********************************

I pull a rune for myself to warm up before doing other readings. And my rune for the day was Algiz (not Reversed.)

Algiz was pointing directly at me, instead of out into the Universe. Which I interpreted as me being the one giving the energy, instead of the one receiving it.

Now, if you're like me, you believe that we are all "the Universe". You feel The Universe is made up of all the bits of matter and energy that permeate its space. So we all get to direct what happens, have a say, make a request. And we are all tools of the Universe also, to fulfill others' requests. To be the guardian angels and energy providers to those who need it.

Sometimes we do these things physically - like stopping when we see someone with a flat tire, or providing direct energy work. But we don't have to get physical to be the answer to a prayer. After all, not all of our needs are physical, are they? Finding that second wind; walking safely to an outlet store; surviving Black Friday sales unscathed. These are all things we would attribute to outside assistance - whether you call it God, or angels, or luck. And we can provide that for others, just by sending our energy out into the world, to answer a request for help. To be used as needed.

Our connections are awesome and vast and amazing, if we just let them be.

One of my favorite passages is from a book called Paladin of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold. A woman in having a conversation with her God, and she asks why it took so long for her prayer for help to be answered. And the God replies that he directed many people down that road, but there was only one who chose to go the full distance.

Which is awesome. We get to choose what we do. We get to choose how we help! And if we feel the call to help, we don't need to run out and find someone with a flat tire . We can simply send the a connecting energy, to refuel the person who is asking for assistance.

Which, given the way time and space work, could be ourselves in the future. Or the past. Hmm.

I hope you have a great day!

11513 - AlgizR, UrazR

You've got this!  You have all the skills, energy & ideas needed to move forward.  With that in mind, please remember - your truth is not always THE truth.  A little flexibility will help the flow.

*****************

It's nice to know that not everything is a BIG thing.  Granted, every choice leads to one hundred new choices, but...

Today, for me, the flexibility and truth statement involved groceries, the putting away of.

We have a refrigerator/ freezer combo, a freezer, and a small fridge.  Thus, groceries do need to be sorted and taken to the appropriate place.

I carry all the groceries into the house and sort from the counter, where I can pull things out, see what I have, and leisurely remember where each should go.

He, however, wanted to sort them at the car, thus carrying the grouped items directly to the appropriate location.

All well and good, but he wanted me to help him sort, there, at the back of the car.

It was cold outside, today!  I did not want to stand there, shivering, trying to remember if the celery was for snacking (little fridge) or dinner salad (big fridge).  And splitting the frozen sandwiches between the inside and outside freezer was something more easily done with a counter.  In my opinion.

Luckily, I did remember, as I stomped into the house muttering under my breath, that not every body does everything the same way.  He had valid reasons for his approach.

In his opinion.  (even if he was wrong, she types snottily.)

The humor of the Truth being about groceries wiped away the rest of the scowl.

Sometimes, it is the little things.

I hope you have a great day!

So it feels like there aren't a lot of choices today.  This is okay! Just keep doing.  Remember, we are rescuing ourselves.  Yay us!

---------------------------

I don't know if i have anything to add.  It was kind of a mediocre reading and it was half accurate.

Regarding the "big" event of today, I had few choices.  But all solutions required an outside force for assistance.  (this morning my car was a beautiful paperweight sitting in the garage.  Had to have "roadside assistance" come out and give us a jump start.  The engine light is still on; I have a service appointment.  I did try some Reiki on it first; no foreseeable effect.)

But I did keep doing.  Until I became tired of doing and decided to watch Burlesque instead.  (Beautiful!)

And I am doing again now.  So the day began and ended with purpose.

All right.  Yay me!

Hope you had a great day!

It's time to stop depending on outside sources for emotional validation.  *Some mysterious stranger isn't going to complete me.  I complete me.

________________________________

I may complete me, but I could sometimes wish for someone to at least drop the answer in my lap!  Or maybe a hint that involves more than 4 hours of...

Well, I was going to say time wasted, but obviously it wasn't wasted.  I learned more about myself today, and what I want.

I learned there are some things I just can't seem to do easily; formatting and uploading a document to become an ebook seems to be one of those things.  Every time I try, it takes hours to complete, or my computer dies.  Or, as was today's case, nothing happens.  (well, except I curbed an urge to reach energetically through the computer screen and "assist" the customer service rep in understanding my issue.)

However, uploading documents, attractive web pages, and other things "e-tastic" are a necessary part of my ultimate goal (to sell books).  So, the solution that makes sense is to ask for help.  find help.  Accept help.

So, isn't that depending on an outside source?  In order to get my work validated (ie published!)

Or did it simply mean the internet wouldn't be helpful today?  Or that the customer service couldn't help me?  Or that my emotional security is not reliant upon the end product of my work?

But in the end, after all the drama, trauma and frustration, it does come to the point.  I am the only person who can make me feel good about myself and about what I have or have not accomplished today.  I am the only person who can ride through the emotional backlash.  I am my own hero.

Yay me!

I hope you have great day.
