LIR 4815 Isa & EihwazR

Isa - What is the truth of the situation, the problem, the project, the feeling? Without attaching past experiences or future possibilities, what is the NOW?

EihwazR - And what can be melded easily without needing a bridge, a middleman, a conductor? Is there some extra work involved that's unnecessary?

**************************************************************
I became fixated yesterday on the middle man part - trying to cut out extra work and all those fiddly moments of worry that add so much burden to otherwise simple tasks. (like phone calls. Or answering emails.) Unfortunately, I feel I cut out parts which would have been helpful - like looking over my notes before filming a video class. Ah well.

As for Isa, for me it was more a day of grateful isolation. I accomplished so much, and most of it was easy.

However, "What is the Now," is a very tricky question. In that it's so simple I want to make it more difficult. It's so tempting to add stories to it. To bring in the past, to compare now to what I want in the future.

Moments change. Truths change. Heck, in my A Capella group, some of my notes were changed because I couldn't reach them consistently. From moment to moment.

It just feels difficult sometimes, when the answers aren't evident, when the truth is something I didn't expect or, worse, goes against my reality.

Blah. Whatever. Seriously. That was then. Now is different. Somehow I made it past the tears I didn't understand, and stopped the video tape of scenarios in my head. Practice pays off. I am glad I allowed the tears of the moment, gave them their space, and then moved on. No repression, no embarrassment. Just acceptance and release.

And then pudding. So that was good.

I hope you had a great day!

LIR 62314 - Isa

Today is a good day to isolate yourself a little, to stand apart, to shield from other people, outside influences, habits of the past.

*****************************************************************

I don't know if I did shield from others, or if today was simply a day of solitude.  Even at my retail job, I spent a lot of time alone.  So that was interesting.  Because before I went out to my retail job, I said "I'm kind of glad I have to go in tonite.  It'll get me away from the computer."  I also meant, pull me out of myself for a little.  But that didn't really happen.

But I did use the part about shielding from the past to good purpose today.  I coddled myself a small bit when needed today, and then went back to work.  And, at the end of this day, I feel happy.  Accomplished.  Hopeful for tomorrow.

Yay me!

Add on - the problem with writing up my posts at the end of the day is then I think the reading is no longer relevant.  So, last night, feeling happy and accomplished, I fell right back into old patterns.

However, back on the happy side again, I am not going to follow up my downfall with self-loathing and recriminations.  Instead, i am going to remember why I dislike that pattern and help myself next time.  So, again, yay me!  *G*

It may feel like nothing’s taking root today. It may even feel impossible, or worse, improbable. But only you decide your reality. So even if it feels uphill all the way, when you give energy to the goal, you are succeeding.
I hope you have a great day!

Feeling a little isolated?  Take those moments.  Feeling frazzled?  Step aside & claim some moments.  Use this time to be calm and happy with yourself.  Heal.

**************************************

After I did this ready, I took a few moments to decide how I wanted it to apply to me.  I wanted to work, so the isolation and calm moments didn't seem to be about taking a break.  But, a lot of my work worked best alone, so I arranged my way of doing things for optimal alone time, while still getting in some partner time.

And once I'd decided how I was going to work things, I didn't really think about the rune again.  I went to bed happy, though, so whatever I did worked best for me!

Things may feel out of balance, out of flow, not as symbiotic or sympathetic as usual.  If this works for you, yay!  Otherwise, slow down.  Going faster will NOT pull things together.  And, oh yeah, breathe.

I hope you have a great day!

92613 - Isa

Today seems to be a good day for some alone time.  If you do go out, keep the shield up and use precautions against nasty energy (physical as well as mental).  You too can prevent the spread of viruses!

---------------------------------------

Today I followed the advice of the runes, and made choices that would give me the most alone time.

One of these choices involved facing a fear.

I do bookkeeping work for a metaphysical store.  I prefer to do the work before the store opens, and I have been entrusted with a key.

Like all good stores, this one has an alarm system.

Now, when one has an alarm system, there is usually some time allowed between unlocking the door and punching in the code.  After all, one has to get the key out of the lock, close and relock the door, and then find the keypad in the dim lighting.   And until about two months ago, the procedure was painless.

But then, the allowable time between unlocking the door and punching in the code became nano-seconds.  (Or I became very very slow.)  Three weeks in a row, the loud and ear punching alarm would sound before I could finish signing in.  The fourth week, I decided I wasn't going to do it anymore.  I was traumatized and I was going to do what I needed to do to make myself feel good.

So I went grocery shopping instead.  (which tells you how bad it really was.)  And I did the bookwork during business hours.

Today... well, the runes said alone time.  So I gathered my courage, did some deep breathing, and walked to the front of the door.  I complimented the store and asked it very politely to be nice to me.  I breathed some more, shook my hair back, and unlocked the door.  I punched in the disarm code (which I had been repeating to myself over and over and over.)  And the keypad, ever so politely, told me I was safe to enter the building.  Without a single nasty buzz.  As if we'd always been chums.

And yes.  My fingers were shaking.  I thought I'd been exaggerating when I called myself traumatized.  Maybe not.

So, thank you Universe, for telling me, asking m, daring, advising me to take some alone time.

And thank you bloggee, for being the reason for me to post this.  With all the busyness of the rest of the day, I'd forgotten my triumph of the morning.

Yay me!

I hope you had a great day.
