Fly your "freak flag" high & proudly,
so your peeps can find you!

I think I covered the wide range of interpretations for this one yesterday.
First, I started my adventures out in the world by flying my freak OUT flag. It helped me waste a lot of time by searching frantically for something I KNEW was already in the car. And then I took the wrong highway to my voice lesson, so I was late.
Now, on the other hand, my freak flag allowed me to be comfortable and at ease during a test drive of a vehicle. And thus, I was able to drive the manual transmission vehicle without stalling. Not even once! In my favor, the vehicle won't even try to start if the clutch isn't engaged, so there was no horrible, neck-wrecking jerking to begin THAT adventure. Yay! It was my first time doing a test drive all by myself (as in, no other family or friends with me.) Just me and the salesperson. And my freak flag allowed me to be me, who turns out to be a pretty decent person. Yay again! And I had a nice discussion with the salesperson. Yay times 3.
Then I came to the moment when it was time to lower the freak flag. The usual methods of either freaking out more or just bouncing off the walls and being unproductive didn't make me feel happy. I did have to take a few moments and put my feet in cold water (and yes, actually run the AC) because it had been a warm and busy day. To me that's an annoying freak need, but taking care of myself is key to continued production. Which is what commenced after my soak.
Maybe that's a different freak flag. The calm switch from one project, one goal, to the next.
So how many "freak flags" do I have, anyway? Probably a colorful array! How about you?
