LIR 6415 Weekly - Eihwaz & WunjoR

It's a good time to bring all the pieces together. To look at them assembled. To call the board together, start the group rehearsals, put the chapters in order. It's a good time to see how all the different pieces (or persons) of the situation flow together, cycle together. How do they interact?

This week, Eihwaz is about melding the pieces to create whatever vision is in your head. It's not so much about the finished product (or final event) or even about making things work together… it's about figuring out how they work together. Creating a plan. Putting the notes in various orders to see what sounds most like your song. How do all your different projects blend into a whole? How do you make time for everything? Can all the ingredients together create a delicious dish? If you mix the molecules differently, what do you get?

This situation is your situation, your project. It's your idea, or your leadership, or your rehearsal. Your mad science creation. You don't need to discuss the excitement, the feeling of creation, the assembly, the way things are moving forward, with your clan. This is your perception - and anyone else, no matter how we love or respect them, is going to have a different way of believing in the outcome and therefore, could cloud your vision. Let them do their own projects and you do yours.

If fact, it may be a good time to lock yourself in your basement 'til the thinking, arranging, rearranging, outline, recipe, translation, mediation, rehearsal, first draft is done. Until the foundation is laid. It doesn't need to be perfect, naturally. But it does need to be solid.

Eihwaz - it's time to bring the pieces together, time to figure out how they flow together, time to find the way the various cycles link. WunjoR - it's also time for a little solitary confinement, keeping your focus, and your thoughts, on the project and on your perceptions. So don your thinking cap, pull out your conductor's wand, find that drafting table, that sewing machine, that typerwriter - and let's get busy, baby.

Whoo hoo! I'm anxious to get started already. I think this is speaking to all the various hats I wear. I've discarded a few, and now I have a burning desire to get "serious" about the ALL of the others. And yeah, I'm going to have to break down what I want to accomplish in all the different areas, and then see how it flows into a schedule.

Hmm, does this count as communicating with my clan about it? Nah. I'm not discussing my hats, or what I picture as the final outcome. And hey, if I don't read any comments, then I won't be receiving any input from anyone else *Grin*.

'Kay, gotta go play!

I hope you have a great day!

PS - I have to wonder - How many times have I called this blessed rune Perthro? Just cuz it looks like a P. It IS Wunjo. Wunjo. Wunjo.  Just so you know.
